Moving from another app

Moving from NYT Cooking to Menu Planner 2

Your NYT Cooking recipes can still come over to Menu Planner 2, one at a time. Here’s the quickest way to do it.

How to bring them over

NYT Cooking can't export your Recipe Box. Open each recipe on cooking.nytimes.com with Find on the Web, signed in to your NYT account there, and tap Get Recipe, then Save Recipe.

The tools that do it

  • Find on the Web opens recipe websites inside Menu Planner 2. On a recipe’s page, choose Get Recipe, then Save Recipe.
  • Paste Recipe Links takes a whole list of recipe web addresses at once and finds the recipe on each page.

Find on the Web and From Pasted Text are in the Kitchen, under New Recipe. Paste Recipe Links is on the From Other Recipe Apps screen.

Steps for each device are in the Help Guide: Moving your recipes from another recipe app.
