Delete your Menu Planner 2 account

Delete your account in the App

On Android

  1. Tap your picture at the top right to open Profile & settings, then tap your email under Account.
  2. Tap Advanced.
  3. Tap Delete account and all data, type DELETE, and confirm.

On iPhone or iPad

  1. Tap your picture at the top left to open Profile & Settings, then tap your email under Account.
  2. Tap Advanced.
  3. Tap Delete Account and All Data, then Delete. Type DELETE and tap Delete again.

On a Mac

  1. Click your profile at the bottom of the sidebar and choose your email, under Account.
  2. Click Advanced.
  3. Click Delete Account and All Data… and click Delete. Then type DELETE and click Delete again.

Deleting your account needs an internet connection. It doesn’t cancel a subscription: cancel it first with Manage Subscription on the App’s Account page, or in your Google Play or App Store subscriptions.

You can also contact support to have your account deleted. Use the email address you sign in with, so I can find your account.

What is deleted

  • Your account and its sign-ins (email, Google and Apple)
  • Your recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, pantry, photos, profiles and settings stored on my servers
  • Everything Menu Planner 2 keeps on the device you delete it from

Your data is deleted from my servers right away. This can’t be undone.

What is kept

  • Households: if you share a household with other people, the household keeps its recipes, plans, lists and pantry. If you started it, the person who has been in it longest becomes the owner. If you joined someone’s household, the recipes and plans you had before you joined are deleted.
  • Purchases: your purchase history stays with Google Play or the App Store.
  • Support messages: messages you sent me, and anything you chose to include, are kept only as long as needed to help you.

Using the App without an account

Without an account, nothing is stored on my servers. To remove everything from a device, open Settings in the App and use Erase All Data at the bottom (on a Mac, Settings → General → Erase…). Deleting the App also deletes its data.
